System Overview - Individual lights are controlled by electronic dusk to dawn photocontrol nodes. The nodes also include 2-way radio communication. The nodes form a mesh communications network. A base station radio located near an outside wall or window is connected to a PC. The base station radio sends radio signals to override the dusk to dawn photocontrol operation.

Installation - The nodes are installed just like regular twistlock photocontrols. Serial numbers and location are noted. A disk is provided to easily load user friendly software on any standard PC. The base station radio is connected to the PC with a standard USB connection. Serial numbers and location/groupings are loaded into the software data base.

Lighting Control - Settings for On / Off operation of the entire lighting system, lighting groups or individual lights can be programmed. Settings are available for 24 hour, 7 day or 365 day operation. An “All On” feature can be used to check lamp / fixture operation during daytime hours.

Cost & Convenience Benefits – The Wi-OLC system eliminates the excessive construction cost of wiring timers and contactors. Holiday, special events and seasonal operations are easily programmed. Individual or blocks of fixtures can be turned off when not needed conserving energy and extending lamp life. Maintenance can be performed during the daytime.
